In this video I am doing some Storefront Window Cleaning with the Wagtail Highflyer (The 18″ version seen here) This tool has become one of my favorite window cleaning tools. It offers a nice swivel that after a long day of work can save stress on your joints.

I enjoy using this tool on a pole or by hand to make quick work of large panes. The washing strip pad attaches to the aluminum channel via a velcro strip and the backplate offers firm backing to get a good scrub. I am currently running the Black Diamond Soft rubber in this and it works great. I typically use the 14″ version on doors and residential windows and the 18″ version for larger panes. The swivel action is great and helps to get windows down low too. I have also noticed less is left behind on the sides to detail. The Wagtail Highflyer does a great job removing water from the sides of the window frames when fanning out a window.
