Today I am kicking off the new year with KT’s Window Cleaning Tool Reviews! I started off the 2022 cleaning season by getting a brand new waterfed pole and 3 stage filtration system. My sales rep “Jersey” raved about the system and its efficiency compared to smaller DI systems. Serving areas with an average water TDS of 500ppm out of the tap the smaller systems would just cost me more in DI resin in the long run. I took his advice and bought the Xero Pure.
The initial investment wasn’t too bad. I got into waterfed with quality equipment for about 3k. At first I was a bit skeptical but after using it a few times it was impressive. This made things a bit more efficient for windows that weren’t neglected. I didn’t have to lug an extension ladder around as much as I normally do.
The first thing I did was install quick connects for the hoses. I also picked up a bag of resin so I would have that on the shelf. I am a maintenance freak when it comes to my tools, so having backups on hand is a must.
If you are a pro window cleaner and looking to become more efficient, this system or similar systems can be a real big time saver. Not only will it allow you to work faster, you can work safer. Always make sure to follow IWCA safety guidelines for using water fed poles. They CAN conduct electricity and you WILL become a statistic if you don’t watch your surroundings and job site.
